RED TEK® ProSeal® Direct Inject Sealant (0 to 1 TON)
Single Pack
RED TEK® ProSeal® Direct Inject Sealant treats systems up to 1 TON (12,000 BTU, 3.5kW) - Perfect for Small Appliances
Quick & Easy Installation -
- Turn the A/C system on and verify the unit is running. Connect RED TEK® ProSeal® INJECT to the low-side service port of the system. (This is generally the large line.)
- Connect the manifold refrigerant hose to the refrigerant supply tank. Verify the high and low side valves on the manifold are closed before proceeding. Purge the low-pressure hose when connecting to the RED TEK® ProSeal® INJECT.
- Open the low-side valve and watch for the tube to clear. (This will ONLY take a few seconds!) Turn off low-side manifold valve as soon as the tube is clear. Turn off refrigerant gas. Verify the system is charged to manufacturer's specifications! Disconnect low-side hose from RED TEK® ProSeal® INJECT. Install service port cap. Run the A/C unit at least one hour after installing RED TEK® ProSeal® INJECT.
Seals Leaks Permanently - RED TEK® ProSeal® Direct Inject Sealant can effectively fix minor leaks in refrigerant systems where the refrigerant charge is not lost within 7 days. Upon detecting a leak, the ProSeal® interacts with the air and moisture around the leak to create a permanent seal. In preventative maintenance routines, this compound flows securely throughout the system to seal future leaks.
RED TEK® ProSeal® Direct Inject Sealant is compatible with all refrigerants and systems (except for ammonia). It excels in HVAC units, fridges, portable split air conditioning units, heat exchange systems, geothermal air conditioning systems, commercial cooling units, mini channel coils, among others. Additionally, it supports a wide range of refrigerants, including but not limited to R410A Freon, R22, R134A, r1234yf, R404A, R290, and R600A.
HIGH SAFETY STANDARDS - RED TEK® ProSeal® Direct Inject Sealant is designed to be safe for use with all types of manifold gauges, hoses, expansion valves (such as TXVs, TEVs, capillary tubes, etc), Schrader valves, and all components required for maintaining your system.
